Do I need to know my birth time for a reading?

Essentially, yes. For an accurate Astrology Reading, you do need to have an accurate time of birth. Often, chatting with Mom, Dad or other family members who were present for your birth does the job. Referencing your birth certificate with or without these chats is often a good idea. Sometimes, calling the hospital for an extended birth certificate is necessary where and when that’s possible (and often comes with a small fee).

If birth time is still a complete mystery after these methods have been tried, I can offer a single, psychologically driven reading for you. Unfortunately, birth time is required for all timing techniques and on-going consultation.

Why?

Without the birth time, the Rising Sign cannot be calculated, therefore the houses cannot be cast and lots cannot be known. The “Rising Sign” is the exact degree on the Eastern Horizon at the time of your birth. It indicates your personality, physical embodiment and your overall identity—pretty important stuff.

Let’s say you are a cosmic clock—because you kinda are—it’s as though your Sun Sign represents the hour hand, while your Rising Sign represents the minute hand.

I have my birth data, what reading should I get?

Individuals both new and well versed in Astrology start with the Personal Reading. This is how I get to know you and your stars! You can come to the reading with personal questions which will streamline it—as in, we can focus on Career, Love and Relationships, Family, etc. However, everyone starts off with this essential Natal—or Personal—Reading.

What can we do in on-going consultation?

On-going Astrological Consultation has the potential to include timing techniques and other types of chart-casting. We can look at Relocation Charts if you’re considering a move or vacation, Solar Returns, Progression Charts and more for detailing your passage through time. Even Horary, the art of using Astrology as Divination, can be accessed.

What if I’m interested in just a Horary?

Perfectly acceptable. You don’t need your own natal chart for this, just one, burning question. I may offer it as a Service in the future but for now reach out to me through the website with the request for a quote. We can jump on a quick call or I can send you a recording of the judgement.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Horary is the art of using Astrology as Divination. Upon understanding your question, I will cast a chart for that moment in order to potentially see the environment surrounding the question.
